Meeting Schedule & Directions

Monthly gatherings of The QSY Society are held in the Alley Room of the East Fishkill Community Library according to the following schedule.  The East Fishkill Community Library is located at 348 Route 376, Hopewell Junction, NY.  The telephone number for the East Fishkill Community Library is 845-221-9943.   To obtain specific driving directions from your location go to Directions.

Weather related cancellations: If the library is closed, the meeting is automatically cancelled.  If the library is open, the meeting will be held as scheduled.  Those planning to attend can check the HOME page of the www.qsysociety.org and/or check both QSY Society and East Fishkill Community Library status at www.cancellations.com.  When the library closes for poor weather conditions, there will be a recorded message at 845-221-9943.

Tell us about your experience in getting licensed, rigs you used, challenges you faced, bring some old QSL Cards to show and old rigs you may have.

In this photographic presentation, W2BOS will discuss the history of “The father of Radio’s” stations, and what one can see and visit there even today at the three major stations sites : Wellfleet MA, Glace Bay NS, and St. John’s NF today.
