Sold at QSY Meeting for $220…

I have a almost new, only used 5 times on air Since I got it for Christmas 2009, so less then a year old. It’s great for mobile or in home use. I decided just to use my IC-7000 and FT-60 for FM.

Yaesu FT-7900R 50W/45w 2m/70cm Mobile Dual Band FM Transceiver. Wide Receive of 108-520MHz and 700-999MHz (Cell Blocked).  NOAA Weather Alert. Illuminated keypad & microphone. Includes YSK-7800 separation kit .  List is $289 but you can find for less of course online..

I am bringing to the meeting tonight Tuesday October 4th. I am asking $220. Make me a reasonable offer and it may be yours. Anything over $220 goes to QSY Society.

I will be presenting a brief intro to operating Satellites for the FD educational activity, some time during our on air period at Field Day, Bowdoin Park. We will operate on AO-51 and get 100 bonus points for making one contact. This gets us 100pts for the education activity plus 100pts for the contact. I will have an HT and Arrow Antenna on a tripod. We will need participants and operators to make the contact.

Congradulations to the Winners; W2BOS Andrew in portable category, and W2NTV Scott in the base category. Everybody participating had lots of fun. We will be posting the scores and a summary in the near future. N2SKP Shirley, is preparing certificates for the winners and we will present them when they are ready.
