Here is a couple of pictures of the “business end” of my antenna switch. This was built with items that I collected at ham fests and a couple of proto boards from Radio Shack. I think I have about $50 in it.
Theoretically, it should be able to handle the legal limit, but I don’t have that kind of power available for testing. Worked great on all HF bands with 100W key down, though.
Home brewing is fun!

Christmas Island (Eastern Kiribati)
Christmas Island, T32C, was snagged on a 31′ end fed halfwave vertical and the K2 (because it has an internal tuner which was needed to match this antenna). Marquesas Island was with a 44′ all band doublet in the attic. The Ivory Coast was also with the 44′ doublet. Both of these contacts were with the K3 (in which I do *not* have an internal tuner because it is connected to a feedpoint autocoupler ). Power/Mode was 5 Watts/CW for all.
