Morse Event Reminder – Saturday, April 27th, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The QSY Society will celebrate the 222nd birthday of Samuel F.B. Morse in a couple of weeks.  I’ve widely publicized this event and the feedback has been great!  I hope I have not bitten off more than we can chew.  The QRZ.com entry for W2M which you can view at:  http://www.qrz.com/db/W2M  has already had over 600 inquiries!  Please visit this link for complete details.  We look forward to having you “sit the circuit” on Sam’s front porch.  Bring your own favorite key – or – use one of our bugs, ‘swipers, straight keys or paddles.  73, Stan WB2LQF

Orange County Club Nets – Open to All and Fun Too!

OCARC NETS

OCARC holds three different Nets, all using the club call sign of W2HO.  You do not need to be an OCARC member to join in the fun.

  • The HF Net meets Sundays at noon Eastern time on 3920 kHz.
  • The 2 Meter Net meets Wednesday evenings at 8PM Eastern time on the Newburgh repeater, output 146.430, input 147.435, PL 71.9.
  • The 10 Meter net meets Thursday evenings at 8PM on 28.355.
  • 6 M FM Net Follows 10M on 52,525 MHZ (FM)
These are more interesting, to me at least then the typical 2M VHF Nets.
