USS Slater Field Trip Details

We have planned a QSY Field Trip to the USS Slater for Saturday, September 17, 2011.  Tour will begin at 11 a.m. and include a complete 1 hour and 15 minute tour of the ship.  In addition we will get a personalized tour of Radio Central and associated radio spaces conducted by one of the Slater ham volunteers.  The tour will include the rare and recently restored RCA TBL-8 transmitter.   Cost for this activity is $6.00 per person.  You may either make your own travel arrangements and meet us there at 11:00 a.m. for the tour – or – we can decide on a convenient meeting place and carpool to the Port of Albany.
AT THIS TIME I NEED AN APPROXIMATE HEADCOUNT.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE EMAIL ME AT sjl219@optonline.net and tell me how many in your party.

Information about the USS Slater is available at http://www.ussslater.org/

Thanks and 73,

Stan WB2LQF and Fred KC2QFR
