I went to the post office yesterday and much to my surprise, I got this from the ARRL… The only bad thing I could come up with was that this KC2NTV dude will never ever win ENY or anything again… BTW, I spent 3 hours tops that weekend and made around 60 qso’s…  27 new DXCC and 6 new zones…

ATTENTION NEW TIMERS (and everyone else too!)

The next meeting of the QSY Society will be held on Tuesday, April 5th,  7:30 p.m.  at the East Fishill Community Library.  Social time begins at 7:00 p.m.  There will be coffee (including decaf), tea, and munchies.

The theme for this meeting is “NEW TIMERS’ DAY” –  If you have not yet renewed your license, or, if you left the hobby and recently returned, then you are a New Timer.  Come share your experiences, your successes, your frustrations, and bring your questions.  Tell us how we might help you get more out of the hobby. Bring a piece of your gear; perhaps something you’ve built.

There will be two raffles tonight – a 50/50 as well as a second raffle with two prizes.  All proceeds will go to our treasury to help fund Field Day 2011.
